Job Description
Would be a Head of maintenance department (Mechanical) and handling the entire plant maintenance activities. Attend to breakdown maintenance of equipment ensuring minimum downtime Implement machine wise preventive maintenance plan within targeted norms for spares consumption and labour utilisation. Forecasting the spares requirement and executing maintenance schedules Develop and implement predictive maintenance systems based on equipment condition monitoring Ensure spares planning & control as per budgeted norms Provide technical assistance in vendor development & selection for indigenization of spares Preparation of dept. budgets for material consumption, labour & plant upgradation Initiate improvement projects on material handling, work methods, etc. with a view to increase labour productivity Manpower assessment and planning Planning preventive and predictive maintenance of Boiler, Turbine, Generator, and Power Plant. Analyzing defects of mechanical, electrical and C&I equipments / systems / sub-systems and taking decisions on repair / maintenance requirement. Planning Capital Expenditure and monitoring progress of budgeted jobs, for non recurring, capital and repairs & maintenance expenditure. He shall control and be for responsible for all activities related to the on going project ensuring coordination of project works as per the time schedules. Implementation of best practices in maintenance.

Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Candidate Must be:- B-tech or M-Tech in Mechanical engineering with sound project management experience of at least around 20 years in mid sized specialty chemicals / Pharma or agro intermediate manufacturing organizations. Knowledge: Must be a team player with sharp analytical and problem solving skills Must possess superior interpersonal skills required for effective coordination with people at all levels from areas like Production, Purchase & Industrial Engineering Must have good knowledge of MS Office tools and ability to read civil layout & structural drawings.
